Big country, big opportunities

We see plenty of entrepreneurs emerging in India, making it an increasingly attractive prospect to identify opportunities for our varieties. Breeding Sales Manager Bert: "Visiting a wide variety of companies has given us even more insight into the opportunities here.

 India is definitely still developing and a lot needs to be done in terms of infrastructure, hygiene and education levels, but they are definitely moving in the right direction.

 "It is striking that all the companies we visited during our last trip are rebuilding to meet demand. The new generation -who often studied in the Netherlands- is very active, ensuring the continuity of these companies. The conclusion is that there is certainly still some work to be done, but there are plenty of opportunities for KP Holland's products and fabric production for Europe and the rest of the world."
